BAI Announces New Webinar Series
Bachrach & Associates, Inc. (BAI), a San Diego-based firm that provides professional development programs to the financial services industry, recently announced a series of webinars designed to help financial advisors improve their business performance. The series, entitled "How to Build a SMART Values-Based Financial Planning™ Business," was developed by Les Lyons, Vice President of Operations for BAI.
Mr. Lyons said, "We wanted to develop a one-hour, web-based workshop for advisors who want to take their financial planning businesses to the next level. The Webinar helps advisors better understand the current state of their businesses and compares it to the type of business they could have."
"We help them apply a series of analytical tools that assess where they are in their businesses," Lyons went on to say. "Many have businesses that are barely surviving, and the advisors are just trying to pay their bills. We show them how they can build smart businesses and actually thrive, with a career and personal life that they truly love. We also give them a realistic assessment of what it's going to take in terms of time and money to get to that next level of performance."
Initial participants have found the webinars to be quite valuable. "It makes you open your eyes to what's really happening in your business and why you may be stuck in a rut you can't seemed to get out of." BAI's Values-Based Financial Planning™ philosophy redirects the focus of advisors and helps them recognize the need to put the client first. While this philosophy challenges the more traditional product-centric nature of the industry, it creates a radical improvement in advisors' performance and job satisfaction, and their clients prefer it as well.
Lyons said, "It all about building a smart business. If you create an exceptional experience for your clients, everything else takes care of itself. Delighted clients refer their friends and family members because they want to share the outstanding service they receive. As a result, advisors do not need to waste the time they traditionally spent prospecting for new clients and can instead spend that time providing an even higher quality of service to their client community."

BAI Announces Release of Mastery Series™ 2
Bachrach & Associates, Inc (BAI) announced the release its new Mastery Series™ 2. It represents state-of-the-art training materials that now serve as the prerequisite materials for attending all future Academy 2 events.
Mastery Series™ 2 is a three module series that provides an overview of how to build a practice exclusively through earned, Client referrals. It represents an entirely new body of work that addresses how to create and communicate the value of forming an Ideal Client Community to ensure the quality of service Financial Professionals can deliver to their Clients. It is a significant step in any Financial Professional's journey toward establishing a true, Values-Based Financial Planning™ practice.
Mastery Series™ 2 highlights the behavioral aspects and implementation requirements associated with forming an Ideal Client Community. It clarifies how the experience of Referrals must parallel the experience of the Clients who were inspired to make such introductions. Mastery Series™ 2 also highlights the importance of providing value to all individuals with whom a Financial Professional comes in contact, regardless of whether such individuals ever are invited to join the Ideal Client Community, which is the very essence of Values-Based Financial Planning™.

BAI Launches New “Look and Feel”
BAI’s President and CEO, Terry O’Hara, introduced BAI’s new “look and feel” at the firm’s most recent Academy 1. BAI’s new logo, with its pyramid and integrated starburst pattern, drew a great round of applause from the audience. O’Hara shared images of how the logo would be applied to all of BAI’s Programs and Resources. Near the end of the presentation, the audience’s attention was directed to the back of the darkened room where all the new materials were unveiled in a spotlighted display. The audience erupted into a long, sustained round of applause and received the new “look” extremely well.
O’Hara thanked Red Lizard Creative for its contribution to the design project. Red Lizard’s President, Lynne Fruehling, was introduced to the crowd and later hosted a table at lunch to address the marketing questions of interested participants. O’Hara also thanked and introduced Ven Nanduri, President of Technology Builders, for his company’s contribution to the technical design of BAI’s new website. Mr. Nanduri also hosted a table at each of the lunches over the three days of the Academy to answer participant’s questions on IT issues. BAI Releases a New Financial Road Map®, Success Road Map®, Quality of Life Enhancer™ Worksheet, Values-Based Quality of Life™ Newsletter, Values-Based Financial Planning book cover, et al.
BAI’s President and CEO, Terry O’Hara, introduced a series of resource improvements at the firm’s most recent Academy 1. These improvements impacted Financial Road Map®, Success Road Map®, Quality of Life Enhancer™ Worksheet, Values-Based Quality of Life™ Newsletter, Values-Based Financial Planning book cover, as well as other materials.
Tied to the firm’s new “branding” program, many of the changes were designed to make the Resources more aesthetically appealing and representative of their professional importance. However, many others were driven by feedback received from Financial Professionals and their Clients to enhance usability and content.
The audience greeted the changes with a standing ovation. Long-time devotees of Values-Based Financial Planning™ commented on how dramatically the Resources had evolved to a new level of professionalism. We hope that you enjoy them as well.

BAI Announces New Mastery Series™ 1
BAI’s President and CEO, Terry O’Hara, introduced BAI’s new Mastery Series™ 1 at the firm’s most recent Academy 1. Mastery Series™ 1 represents the state-of-the-art training materials that serve as the prerequisite materials for attending all future Academy 1 events.
Mastery Series™ 1 is a three module series that replaces the former Mastery System, which is being retired. Module 1 provides an overview of the Values-Based Financial Planning™ philosophy as well as insight into how to get the greatest value out of the materials. Module 2 focuses on how to conduct the Financial Road Map® Interview and all of the surrounding Conversations. Module 3 addresses the issue of establishing a Trusted Advisor’s Way of Being™.
The new materials were met with a standing ovation from the audience. O’Hara introduced Rebecca Everett, Vice President of Training and Development, and Lisa Pomerleau, Director of Deliverables to the crowd. Ms. Everett, a world-class expert in adult learning theory, directed the development of the content of Mastery Series™ 1, while Ms. Pomerleau directed the development of the layout and physical properties of Mastery Series™ 1. The crowd acknowledged both of their contributions with vigorous applause.
